Danku in NYC

Ever since I saw Cindy's snack on Quaint Handmade I've been dying to go to Danku! This new-to-New York restaurant (which actually started in Antwerp, Belgium by three siblings) features Indonesian and Dutch cuisines, like Satay and Krokets, as well as bakery goods, salads and organic fruit drinks. The goal was to start the first international, eco-friendly, fast food chain. Awesome.

hi - i think you would all really love danku. the food is different, delicious and reasonably priced.

this is our favorite new place and the people are so friendly. plus, it's typical scandinavian design and they're always tidying up, so it's really clean.

xo, c

Hi Jessie, your blog is great! I'm so glad you found me, so I could fine you!

I spent a good part of my childhood in Holland, and poffertjes (the smallish pancake looking things) are FANTASTIC! Lightly buttered with powdered sugar, they are amazing. I make them on Sundays for brunch. :) You should definitely go to Danku.

You just made me craaaave Indonesian food. My mum is Indonesian so we grew up eating the delicious food about once a week. But honestly, all you have to do is give me a bowl of rice and peanut sauce then you will not hear another peep out of me.
