I'm really happy that Demetri Martin has finally landed a lead role in a film. He has worked for years as a stand-up comic. I guess it's the year for comics like Martin and Zach Galifianakis from, "The Hangover," to finally get some mainstream attention.
You said Focus Features is understated and that is spot on. It seems like all of the big directors are trying to do understated movies. Sam Mendes with, "Away We Go," and Jonathan Demme with, "Rachel Getting Married," to name a few.
