Julie & Julia

Is it surprising that I can't wait for this film to be released (a month from today on August 7)? It follows the true story of a woman with a goal to redo the work of Julia Child and document it through a blog, The Julie/Julia Project. Watch the trailer, below. And here's the blog that started it all.

Yay, yay, yay! I have been looking forward to the release of this movie. I found an old copy of one of Julia Child's cookbooks last year and have attempted a few recipes. Not too successful but fun to experiment!

I don't consider myself much of a cook, though I do try and I like to learn new recipes and techniques and watch the food network way too much. suffice to say, since the first time I saw the trailer for Julie & Julia I have been dying to see the movie! it looks amazing and has fabulous actresses in it. what's not to love? :)
